Capturing Genuine Family Moments in Sydney’s Eastern Suburb Beaches

There’s something truly special about family time spent by the water, and Sydney’s Eastern Suburb beaches offer the perfect backdrop for those heartfelt moments. I recently had the joy of photographing Beth, Jono, and their two adorable kids at beautiful Coogee Beach - a spot that’s close to my heart since I also live in Coogee.

We started near the iconic Coogee Surf Life Saving Club, which added a lovely local vibe to their photos, before heading down to the beach where the family’s laughter and playful energy really came alive. Watching little Georgia splash in the waves with pure joy was such a highlight - her excitement was infectious! Meanwhile, her younger brother was all about those sweet cuddle moments with mum, and you could really feel the warmth and connection they share.
