A Trip to Remember | Sydney Harbour Engagement Photographer

Following Fabrizio’s unforgettable surprise proposal at Lady Macquarie’s Chair, we met again the next morning for a beautiful and relaxed Sydney Harbour engagement session to celebrate their exciting news. 💍

We started early, just after sunrise, when the light was soft, the air was calm, and the harbour was still. It’s one of the best times of day for a photo shoot in Sydney – before the crowds arrive and when the Opera House and Harbour Bridge glow with that perfect morning light. There’s something so peaceful and cinematic about the city at that hour.

Fabrizio and Jacquelyn couldn’t stop smiling – they were still riding the high of their proposal and it made for the most joyful, love-filled session. We wandered beside the harbour, stopping along the way to take in the view and capture moments that reflected how happy and connected they felt - not to mention to capture the stunning engagement ring! 💍

This kind of engagement session at Sydney Harbour is one of my favourite ways to follow up a proposal. It's not just about the beautiful location – though with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge as your backdrop, it really doesn’t get more iconic – it’s about giving couples the space to pause, soak it all in, and preserve that just-engaged glow.

As always, I feel so lucky to be part of such meaningful milestones. It’s a privilege to witness and document these moments – both the big surprise and the quieter morning after. ♡
