Sydney Botanic Gardens Proposal - Todd & Courtney’s Story
Todd and Courtney were visiting Sydney for the weekend from New Zealand, and Todd had planned a special surprise. Just before sunset, he wanted to ask Courtney to marry him in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.
After a week of rain, we were treated to a gorgeous spring evening, making it a beautiful time for Todd and Courtney’s proposal. 💍
A Spring Proposal in Sydney Botanic Gardens
Todd chose the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney for his proposal, with its beautiful gardens beside the harbour providing a lovely setting for the occasion.
Courtney looked stunning as Todd got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. With the spring flowers in bloom, it was a beautiful evening for such a special moment.
I love that once the question has been asked, couples can relax and enjoy the excitement of being newly engaged.
We continued exploring the gardens for photographs, making the most of the variety of scenery, from the lush greenery and palm trees to the pond, seasonal flowers and views across the harbour and city skyline.
Engagement Photos Beside Sydney Harbour
Later that weekend, we also met beside Sydney Harbour for engagement photos, this time with the Sydney Opera House as the backdrop.
Congratulations, Todd and Courtney! It was lovely to capture your proposal and spend more time photographing you both beside the harbour. I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek, and I can’t wait to share the rest of your images with you soon.
