A Family Vacation to Remember – Sydney Portrait Session

Jennifer and her lovely family recently travelled all the way from the mountains of Colorado, near Denver, to soak up Sydney’s sunshine and iconic harbour views – and it was such a joy to capture their moments together.

With two super cute kids, snazzy coordinated outfits, and a real sense of connection, their session turned into a beautiful collection of portraits that will forever remind them of their Sydney adventure.

The family are used to sweeping mountain views of Colorado and fresh alpine air, so Sydney Harbour and dramatic sails of the Opera House offered a completely new and exciting backdrop.

We met early in the morning for their Sydney Opera House family photo session, when the city was still waking up, the light was soft and it was still cool. Those quiet, candid moments – a shy smile, a shared laugh between siblings, or a playful hand-hold with family – often become the most memorable and cherished images.

Outfits always make a difference in family portraits, and the family nailed it. Father and son even sported matching shoes, with just a hint of camouflage in the air – a playful little detail that brought personality to their look.
