We met in Kirribilli on a stunning spring evening, starting on a stone jetty overlooking Sydney Harbour before exploring the surrounding area for engagement photographs. It was a beautiful setting for this special chapter of their first visit to Sydney.
Jonathan had planned this special surprise for Keaton during their first visit to Sydney. With their engagement session taking place with the backdrop of Sydney Harbour, it was a wonderful way to begin this new chapter together.
A spring evening in Kirribilli
Kirribilli is one of my favourite places to photograph around Sydney Harbour. With views across the water towards the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, it offers a wonderful mix of recognisable Sydney scenery and quieter waterfront spots.
We spent time together around the harbour and in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge capturing photographs of the two of them together in Sydney.
Alongside the views, I wanted the photographs to reflect their experience of being in Sydney together and give them something to look back on from this exciting chapter of their relationship.
Jonathan and Keaton looked so happy together, and Keaton was absolutely brimming with joy. It was so lovely to capture these moments for them.
Sydney Harbour and the Opera House sails the following morning
We continued the photoshoot the next morning on the other side of Sydney Harbour, with the sails of the Sydney Opera House across the water.
I love that Jonathan and Keaton were able to experience two different sides of the harbour. Kirribilli offered a quieter waterfront setting, while the Opera House provided another recognisable Sydney backdrop for their engagement photographs.
