Beautiful Beach Session - Family Photographer Coogee

It may have been the last day of winter in Sydney, with a crisp chill in the air, but the joy of this beautiful family session in Coogee shone through. I had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Wes with their two gorgeous girls late one Sunday afternoon.

We began the session near the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club, where the ocean views are simply fabulous. It’s one of my favourite spots in Coogee to take in the sweeping coastline - and the perfect place to start telling a family’s story.

From there, we wandered down to the beach, with the salty air and rolling waves setting the scene. Even though it was a little chilly, the light was soft and beautiful, creating the perfect backdrop for this family photoshoot in Coogee.

What struck me most was the love that filled every moment. It’s clear that Katie and Wes absolutely adore their daughters - from the way they watched them play, to the shared smiles, cuddles and little moments in between.

The family photo session also gave us the perfect excuse to celebrate an early Father’s Day for Wes, which made the day even more special.
