When Stefanie and her family moved to Sydney from Texas, they settled into life at Bondi Beach for six months, making the most of everything this beautiful part of Sydney had to offer. As their time here was coming to an end, they wanted to capture photographs that would preserve this special chapter of their family's life - and Bondi was the perfect place to do it.
Bondi Beach had become a favourite part of their time in Sydney, with many days spent enjoying the beach together. It was also a place filled with special memories for their children.
Their son, Sidney went to school and had even taken skate board lessons at the local skate park, making Bondi much more than simply a beautiful Sydney location - it had become part of their family's everyday life.
For their family photography session, we spent time together along the beach, exploring, chatting and capturing those natural moments that show their personalities and connection as a family.
I love that family photography doesn't have to be about everyone looking at the camera. Some of my favourite photographs are the ones that capture the little interactions - the laughter, cuddles, movement and moments between parents and children. And kids just being kids.
It was really special to spend time with Stefanie, her husband and their two children and to get to know their family a little more. Knowing that these photographs will help them remember the six months they spent living in Sydney makes the session even more meaningful.
