Late last year, I was thrilled to hear from a mom in Ohio looking to book a senior photography session in Sydney for her daughter, Claire. Their family was planning a vacation to Australia and Claire wanted to celebrate her final year of high school with something truly unforgettable - a custom senior portrait session with a Sydney Harbour backdrop.

We chose Milk Beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for its stunning view of the skyline and Harbour Bridge. It’s a beautiful, tucked-away spot that offers the best of both worlds – natural harbour charm and iconic city views – making it perfect for senior portraits in Sydney.

Claire was wearing a stunning teal flowy dress that moved beautifully beside the harbour in the soft winter light, everything came together beautifully.

What made this session unforgettable was Claire’s adventurous spirit. She didn’t just dip her toes in – she started with a barefoot splash and ended up knee-deep in the harbour! It was a chilly winter evening, but Claire absolutely embraced the moment, and it shows in every frame – full of joy, elegance, and a sense of freedom.
