The Secret Plan
When Dhaval first reached out to me, he had the most wonderful secret. He was flying to Australia for the very first time with one very important mission - to propose to Archana. Having never visited Australia before, he needed a little local guidance on finding the perfect spot.
After chatting through a few ideas, I suggested Mary Booth Reserve in Kirribilli - one of my absolute favourite Sydney proposal locations, with sweeping panoramic views of the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and Sydney Harbour as far as the eye can see. Romantic, iconic and undeniably Sydney. Archana had absolutely no idea what was coming.
She Said Yes!
And when the moment arrived? She was VERY surprised - in the most beautiful, joyful way. The look on her face said everything. The laughter, the happy tears, the pure delight - it was pure magic. Once she said yes (of course she did!), the smiles simply would not stop.
Celebrating besides the harbour
With the Harbour Bridge and Opera House in the background, we wandered through the reserve soaking up those incredible views - and celebrating! There is nowhere quite like Sydney Harbour to mark the beginning of a lifetime together and their absolute joy, made the moment feel like a dream.
Their First Portraits as an Engaged Couple
We finished the session with portraits of the two of them together - wrapped up in each other, giddy with joy, and stepping into this gorgeous new chapter as an engaged couple. More smiles, more laughter and so much love. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful moment to be part of.
