Sydney Surprise Proposal Photographer - Thibaud & Marie’s Kirribilli Proposal

There is something incredibly special about photographing a proposal, especially when it involves travel, history and a beautiful surprise. As a Sydney surprise proposal photographer, I had the honour of capturing Thibaud’s proposal to Marie during their holiday in Sydney.

The couple were visiting from France, soaking up the sunshine and visiting a country that already held meaning for Marie. She had lived in Australia many moons ago and was loving the opportunity to return, this time sharing the experience with Thibaud. What she did not know was that this trip was about to become even more unforgettable.

A Romantic Proposal in Kirribilli

Thibaud chose an intimate spot in Kirribilli, one of Sydney’s most romantic harbourside locations. With sweeping views across the water and the city skyline beyond, it was the perfect setting for a private and meaningful proposal.

As a Sydney surprise proposal photographer, my role is always to blend into the background while quietly documenting the moment as it unfolds. The anticipation, the nervous excitement, the shift from confusion to joy.

When Thibaud went down on one knee, Marie’s surprise quickly turned into pure happiness. To her delight, he asked her to marry him. To his delight, she said yes.
