Sydney Family Photoshoot at Sydney Harbour
There are few better places for a family photoshoot in Sydney than the harbour, especially when you have the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House as your backdrop.
It was a beautiful autumn morning in Sydney, with the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House providing the perfect backdrop for a family photoshoot. I met Jules and Scott and their two boys at the harbour, and they were such a lovely family to photograph.
One of the things I love about family sessions is capturing a mix of the more traditional family portraits alongside the moments that happen naturally in between. We explored the harbour together, stopping along the way for some photographs with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, as well as plenty of cuddles, laughs and playful moments with the boys.
The boys brought plenty of energy to the session, and it was lovely to see how much fun they were having together. For me, those little moments are what make a family gallery feel personal. You get the beautiful photographs of everyone together, but also the photographs that remind you what it actually felt like to be there.
As we wrapped up the photoshoot, I felt so grateful to be doing something I love. It's such a lovely part of my job to spend time with families, get to know them a little and capture the way they interact with each other.
Jules, Scott and the boys were such a joy to photograph, and I hope these images bring back happy memories of their morning around Sydney Harbour for many years to come.
